Originally known as B&B Foods, John Link co-founded the Foodservice Brokerage in 1978 out of Michigan. In 1984, John and his co-founder made the choice to part ways due to a difference of opinion on which way the company should grow.
With John’s growing knowledge of the Midwest market and the rising numbers of independently owned and operated Mom&Pop Shops in Ohio and Kentucky, he and his wife, Mary, made a hard decision to move their two young children, Leah and Jason Link to a small town called Washington Court House, Ohio where he and Mary co-founded a new Foodservice Brokerage known as B&B Creative Marketing: The Pizza Specialists.
Entrusting John and Mary with their new adventure, Circle U (known today as Smithfield) and Burnett Dairy Cooperative became B&B Creative Marketing’s two first partners and still hold a strong after 40 years. The company was built on strong morals and deep loyalties we still prize ourselves in having with all our partners: Manufacture, Distributor and End User.
Now, with over 40 years of experience in the Foodservice Industry, B&B Creative Marketing covers 9 states in the Midwest Foodservice Market. Starting in Michigan we work with Distributors and End Users stretching to Georgia. Co-founders John and Mary Link have stepped down from their original positions of President and Vice President of the Company only to “pass their torches” onto their children - Leah Link-Foster/ President and Jason Link/ Vice-President co-own and run the company as partners.
Thanks to John and Mary Link, along with their children and now co-owners, B&B Creative Marketing has been instilled with the love and passion the Link Family has shown for the ever changing, always growing Foodservice industry - Not to mention FOR THE LOVE OF PIZZA!! The company has become viewed and respected as a top consultant “in tutte le cose italiane” - in all things Italian.
